Germany has announced the delivery of two Patriot systems to Ukraine, following an agreement with the US that will allow Berlin to receive the latest equipment. The Bundeswehr will initially send Patriot launchers in the coming days, followed by additional components in two to three months. The decision comes as Russian air strikes on Ukraine intensify, and Patriot systems have proven effective in defending against ballistic missiles. Germany has previously delivered three Patriot systems without affecting its contribution to NATO.
