A major strike by public sector employees has paralyzed Greece, especially public transport, in response to a bill that allows the extension of working hours up to 13 hours a day. The ADEDY union organized the mobilization to demand the withdrawal of the law, considering it a threat to workers' rights. Although GSEE did not officially participate, it encouraged the protests. The government argues that the changes are necessary to adapt to the current demands of the labor market.
