Farmers are calling for the simplification of administrative procedures and the relaxation of European regulations, which they consider restrictive and a source of unfair competition. Although a police prefecture order prohibited tractors from entering certain sensitive areas of the capital, the protesters, led by union leaders, emphasized that they will continue to make their demands heard, even in the face of the risks of being stopped by the police.
