Multiple explosions were heard in Jerusalem on Monday around 5:00 AM GMT, and sirens began to sound after the Israeli army reported rocket fire launched from Iran. Explosions were also reported in the Tel Aviv region. The army activated air defense to intercept the rockets and urged the population to take shelter. About 40 minutes after the first alert, sirens sounded again in Jerusalem, signaling a new identification of rockets. Although no casualties were reported, on Sunday, an Iranian rocket attack resulted in the death of nine people and the disappearance of another 11 when a building collapsed over a public shelter. Additionally, seven people were injured in an airstrike in the Jerusalem area.
