A tragic incident occurred on Friday at the Ovruchi train station in the Zhytomyr region of Ukraine, where a 23-year-old man detonated an explosive device on the platform during a document check. The explosion resulted in his death and that of three other people, including a policewoman. Among the 12 injured, two are military personnel and ten are civilians. The incident took place around 10:50 AM while Border Patrol Service employees were conducting checks on passengers of a diesel train. The police confirmed that the explosion was caused by an explosive device, which local media reported to be a grenade. The Zhytomyr region is located in central Ukraine.
