The European Commission has launched a public consultation on the drafting of the Equal Opportunities Strategy 2026-2030, inviting citizens to contribute to shaping the future of European society. Gabriela Firea underlines the importance of everyone's participation, noting that gender equality still needs 134 years globally and 60 years in Europe to be achieved. In Romania, progress is slow, and Firea warns that achieving equal opportunities could take a century, despite the efforts made.
