Turkish President Erdogan condemned the suicide attack in Syria, reaffirming Turkey's support for the Syrian government in the fight against terrorism.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Turkey will not allow Syria to return to chaos because of terrorism, after a suicide bombing killed 22 people at a church in Damascus. Erdogan expressed his solidarity with the Syrian people and sent condolences to the families of the victims. He stressed that the attack was aimed at destabilizing peace and coexistence in Syria, reaffirming Turkey's support in the fight against terrorism. The Syrian authorities arrested members of a terrorist cell associated with the Islamic State.
