On Friday morning, a Rossiya Airlines aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing in Khabarovsk after part of the fuselage broke during the flight from Vladivostok to Blagoveshchensk. There were 90 passengers and five crew members on board, and fortunately, no injuries were reported. Video recordings show that the right engine lost its outer casing and several metal parts. Regional prosecutors stated that the aircraft suffered a 'technical failure' and opened an investigation to analyze the aircraft's preparation before takeoff. Passengers were expected to be transferred to another aircraft, and some decided not to fly with the damaged aircraft. The incident raised concerns about air safety in Russia, in the context of recent aviation accidents.
