Elon Musk has deleted a post on X claiming that Donald Trump appears in files linked to Jeffrey Epstein, after a week of tensions between the two. Musk initially posted that Trump is the reason why these files have not been made public, but was contradicted by Epstein's former lawyer, who said there is no evidence incriminating Trump. The White House spokeswoman characterized Musk's behavior as an unfortunate episode, while Trump speculated that Musk "has lost his mind."
