The authorities in the United Arab Emirates have announced the arrest of 55 individuals for publishing clips related to airstrikes on the country. Among them, 10 individuals have been detained for broadcasting real images of interceptions, as well as false videos generated by artificial intelligence. The trial of these individuals has been expedited, according to state media. Additionally, the Abu Dhabi Police have arrested 45 individuals of various nationalities for filming and spreading false information during the attacks.

This action comes in the context of a British national being accused of violating cybercrime laws after filming Iranian missiles over the city of Dubai. The director of the organization Detained in Dubai, Radha Stirling, stated that 21 individuals have been charged in connection with the videos and social media posts related to the recent missile attacks, which included images of fragments hitting residential buildings, luxury hotels, and airports.
