Flights were temporarily suspended at Manchester airport after two easyJet planes collided on the runway. There were no casualties.

On Friday morning at Manchester airport, two easyJet jets collided, touching wings while taxiing for take-off. The incident occurred at around 6:30am, but both aircraft managed to return to their parking positions where passengers disembarked safely. EasyJet launched an investigation and offered vouchers to passengers affected. Although the day was busy, no significant delays were reported on the departure board.
