The attack on Friday was the first of its kind on the Primorsk port, one of the largest oil export terminals in Russia. Since the beginning of August, Ukraine has intensified attacks on Russian energy infrastructure, including refineries and pipelines. The governor of the Leningrad region stated that the fire has been extinguished and there are no risks of pollution.
