The United States and Iran will have discussions on Friday in Muscat, Oman, about the nuclear file, according to a senior American official. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed the meeting, which will include an Iranian delegation led by him, along with diplomats Majid Takht-Ravanchi and Kazem Gharibabadi. On the American side, envoy Steve Witkoff will represent Washington, and Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump's son-in-law, may be present. This meeting comes after a series of nuclear negotiations between the two countries, which were suspended in 2025 due to Israeli airstrikes on Iran, which led to a 12-day conflict.
