Sean 'Diddy' Combs' lawyers reacted vehemently to the Netflix documentary titled 'Sean Combs: The Reckoning', produced by rapper 50 Cent. They described it as a 'shameful campaign' based on 'stolen footage'. The documentary, which was released on Tuesday, is presented as a 'stunning examination' of the hip-hop mogul, who was convicted this year on prostitution-related charges.
It includes footage that Netflix considers 'explosive', filmed in the days leading up to Combs' arrest, including a phone conversation with his lawyers. Although the director claims to have obtained the footage legally, Combs' spokesperson states that its use is 'fundamentally unfair and illegal'.
