An international operation on July 15 led to the dismantling of a botnet that attacked critical infrastructure in Europe. Two people were arrested in France and Spain and six arrest warrants were issued by German authorities. The hacker group, known as NoName057(16), carried out DDoS attacks affecting more than 230 organizations, including arms factories and electricity providers, demonstrating support for Russia in the context of the war in Ukraine.
