Dacia is strengthening its presence in the German automotive market by transforming the Duster model into a taxi, adapting it to the high standards of comfort and reliability imposed in Germany. The company Intax has launched a conversion kit that transforms the Duster into a taxi according to German requirements, including wrapping in a specific beige shade, a taxi lamp holder, a taximeter, a radio station, and an emergency alarm system. The price of this package is 3,150 euros, and additional options, such as leather upholstery, are available for customers. The kit is compatible with the hybrid and LPG versions of the Duster 3, which start at around 19,000 euros. This initiative marks a significant novelty, considering that taxis in Germany are usually more expensive models, such as Mercedes or Volkswagen, and the Duster thus becomes one of the few compact SUVs accepted in this segment.
