Repeated drone and missile attacks launched by Ukraine have led to a severe crisis in Crimea, affecting the daily lives of the residents.

Power and water outages, along with fuel shortages, have resulted in a significant decrease in the number of tourists, leading to discontent among the locals. Since the beginning of the year, Ukraine's air campaign has targeted the peninsula's infrastructure, causing the worst disruptions since the annexation in 2014. Residents are facing a lack of essential resources, and Russian authorities have declared a state of emergency to manage the crisis.

In this context, the feeling of abandonment and frustration towards the Russian authorities is increasingly present. Additionally, Ukrainian attacks target supply routes, further complicating the situation. Ukraine hopes that these actions will give it an advantage in any potential peace negotiations, while the Kremlin faces a difficult situation, trying to minimize the impact of the crisis.

Crimean residents continue to live in precarious conditions, with promises of aid that do not materialize.
