On December 5, Cloudflare experienced a global outage, similar to the one on November 18, which affected television stations, international organizations, and companies. The National Cyber Security Directorate (DNSC) confirmed that several websites, including those of some press entities and social networks, became unavailable due to issues with Cloudflare's service delivery. Although the problems were resolved, the monitoring site Down Detector was also temporarily affected.
DNSC stated that the incident was caused by operational errors and not by a cyber attack, and the technical analysis did not indicate any compromise of systems. Cloudflare provides security and performance services for websites, functioning as a reverse proxy, and its unavailability affects the accessibility of the managed sites.
