Timur Minditch, co-owner of the production company Kvartal 95, is accused of controlling illegal financial flows in this sector, benefiting from his relationships with Zelensky. Operation "Midas," carried out by the National Anti-Corruption Agency (NABU), led to the arrest of five individuals and searches in the homes of Minditch and former Energy Minister Guerman Galuchtchenko, who is suspected of having received benefits from him. NABU obtained evidence in the form of audio recordings that confirm the activities of a high-level criminal organization. The Ukrainian government dismissed the supervisory board of Energoatom, the state-owned nuclear company, considered central to the corruption system. President Zelensky emphasized the need for actions against corruption, in the context of international criticism and the demands for Ukraine's accession to the European Union.
