Kvartal 95, the production company co-founded by Volodymyr Zelenskyy, lost a warehouse following a Russian drone attack

A Russian drone attack destroyed a warehouse belonging to the Ukrainian production company Kvartal 95, co-founded by Volodymyr Zelensky before he entered politics, the studio announced on Wednesday. No one was injured in the attack, but it caused significant material damage.

The company said it had lost sets, costumes and props used for approximately 20 years in concerts, television shows, films and series. Images published by Kvartal 95 on social media show firefighters battling a large blaze that broke out at the warehouse.

The studio said it intended to continue its activities and proceed with plans for a charity concert scheduled for mid-October. The company also said it would continue supporting Ukraine’s defenders.

Kvartal 95 was founded in 2003 by Volodymyr Zelensky and brothers Boris and Serhii Shefir, who are from Kryvyi Rih. Between 2015 and 2019, the company produced the series “Servant of the People,” in which Zelensky played a history teacher who became president of Ukraine.
