Chernivtsi, Ukraine, without electricity after a Russian drone attack

The majority of the Chernivtsi region in northern Ukraine was left without electricity on Saturday, following a drone attack launched by Russia, according to statements from local governor Viaceslav Chaus. Intervention teams are tasked with repairing the damage caused by the attack. The Chernivtsi region, which borders Russia and Belarus, had a population of nearly one million residents before the war. The regional capital, Chernivtsi, has been completely without electricity, the city administration reports.
