A thick black smoke rose Monday above the U.S. embassy in Kuwait, according to an AFP journalist, in the context of Iran intensifying attacks on Gulf states in response to American-Israeli strikes.
Sirens sounded in the Kuwaiti capital, and authorities announced the interception of drones, without specifying their number. The American embassy issued a warning, urging citizens not to approach the mission due to a persistent threat of missile and drone attacks.
These Iranian attacks began Saturday in response to the death of Ayatollah Khamenei, and explosions were reported in cities such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, and Manama.
