On Thursday, a bear attack injured eleven people, including children, in the rural area of Bella Coola in British Columbia, Canada. Among the victims, two are in critical condition and another two are in serious condition. The incident occurred on a trail, and a teacher who was supervising students intervened to protect them, later being evacuated by helicopter. The Nuxalk community, which manages the territory, warned the population to stay indoors and avoid the highway. Acwsalcta School, attended by students, expressed sadness over the incident and assured that all those affected are receiving medical assistance.
