As a result of a Ukrainian attack on energy infrastructure, the city of Sevastopol was temporarily left without electricity, according to a post by the governor on the messaging network MAX.

He described the incident as a "sneaky attack" mentioning that the enemy is trying to disrupt the normal life of the residents and to spread panic. A state of emergency has been declared at the energy facilities, and specialists are analyzing the damage to restore power supply. In total, Sevastopol was targeted by two attacks, during which 70 drones were shot down, and two people were injured.

Damage has also been reported to residential buildings. The governor urged residents to conserve phone batteries and not to overload the electrical networks. Other resorts in Crimea, such as Alushta and Yalta, have also been left without power. The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that 323 Ukrainian drones have been shot down in various regions, and Ukrainian attacks have led to issues in gasoline supply and the cancellation of summer activities for children.
