The head of Ukraine's Security Service, Vasil Maliuk, has announced that an assassination attempt on President Zelenski was foiled at Rzeszów airport, involving a retired Polish serviceman recruited by Russian services. Maliuk said the attacker was apprehended with the help of Polish colleagues. A second assassination attempt was also foiled in the Presidential Office in Kiev. The Polish Interior Minister confirmed close cooperation with Ukrainian services in providing security for the President.
