A new armed attack took place on Wednesday at a school in Turkey, Ayser Calik in Kahramanmaras, resulting in the death of four people, including a teacher and three students, and injuring another 20. The governor of the region, Mukerrem Unluer, confirmed that the attacker entered two classrooms and opened fire with 5 weapons and 7 cartridges. The incident is the second armed attack in just two days, after on April 14, another former 18-year-old student injured at least 16 people in a high school in Siverek, before committing suicide.
