DIICOT prosecutors have expanded the criminal investigation against Andrew Tate, accusing him of incitement to hatred and discrimination against women, based on messages and public discussions from the period 2021-2024. This new accusation joins the existing case in which the Tate brothers are being investigated for human trafficking and other serious crimes.

DIICOT specified that Andrew Tate, a 39-year-old British citizen, incited the public to hatred through speeches promoted on social media. The investigation is being conducted together with police officers from the Ilfov Organized Crime Fighting Service. The Tate brothers were taken by the police in December 2022, after several women reported that they had been held captive and sexually exploited. Additionally, prosecutors are investigating allegations of minor trafficking and money laundering. Recently, searches took place at the Tate brothers' residence, where large sums of money and luxury goods were discovered. Andrew Tate has been placed under house arrest, while Tristan Tate is under judicial control.
