Rafael Grossi, director of the International Atomic Energy Agency, has reported that uranium enrichment centrifuges at Iran's Natanz site have suffered serious damage, possibly being destroyed by Israeli attacks. These attacks caused a power outage that reportedly damaged the machines, although the underground facility was not directly affected. Grossi emphasized the risks of radioactive contamination, but assured that external levels remain normal. Israel thus aims to prevent Iran, which claims its program is for civilian purposes, from developing an atomic bomb.
