Germany, the United Kingdom and France have sent a letter to the UN, announcing that they are prepared to reimpose sanctions against Iran if a negotiated solution to its nuclear program is not found by the end of August 2025. Foreign ministers underline their commitment to a diplomatic solution amid heightened tensions after Israeli and US attacks on Iran's nuclear targets. Iran has suspended cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency but is now discussing a new cooperation framework.
