A Pole assaulted another Pole after confusing him for a Ukrainian. The victim suffered serious injuries and was transported to the hospital.

Last weekend, a violent incident occurred in the city of Lodz, Poland, when a man was assaulted by another Pole who mistook him for a Ukrainian. The attacker, now wanted by the police, heard a passerby talking on the phone and, believing he was Ukrainian, punched him in the head, starting to insult him and accuse him of "not having any business in Poland."

The victim, actually a Pole, suffered a fracture of the nose and jaw and required medical attention. After the incident, he filed a complaint with the police. Authorities are investigating the case, reviewing footage from surveillance cameras and seeking witnesses to identify the attacker.
