The U.S. Department of Justice has allowed the DOGE team of counselors access to the ECAS system, which stores information on millions of legal and illegal immigrants, including names, addresses and case histories. Although the department has not confirmed access, documents suggest that staff were trained to prepare the accounts for the DOGE team. Members of the team include people with controversial connections, including former employees and those associated with Elon Musk.
