Chapter 2: Which team will win the Superliga

According to The National Barometer of Romanian Sports, conducted by Inscop Research at the request of Fanatik.ro, nearly 1 in 3 Romanians who like football believe that the team that will win the Superliga this year will be FCSB, while just over one-fifth think that the future champion will be Universitatea Craiova.

Methodology:

The National Barometer of Romanian Sports Fanatik – INSCOP Research was conducted by INSCOP Research at the request of the website Fanatik.ro. Data was collected between October 10-22, 2025. Research method: interview via questionnaire. Data was collected using the CATI method (telephone interviews), with a simple stratified sample size of 1500 people. The sample is representative for significant socio-demographic categories (gender, age, occupation) for the non-institutionalized population of Romania, aged 18 and over. The maximum margin of error is ± 2.5%, at a confidence level of 95%.

32.2% of those who like football believe that FCSB will win the Superliga/Liga 1 football championship this season, 21.8% Universitatea Craiova, 7.5% CFR Cluj, 7.4% Dinamo, 6.9% Rapid, 3.2% "U" Cluj, and 3% FC Botoșani. 0.9% indicate another team. 17% do not know or do not respond.

They believe that FCSB will win the football Superliga championship this season especially: young people under 30, individuals between 45 and 59 years old, those with primary education, residents of Bucharest, and public sector employees.

They consider that Universitatea Craiova will become the champion in Liga 1 this season especially people over 60 years old and residents of rural areas.
