According to the Informat.ro - INSCOP Research BAROMETER conducted between May 26-30, 2025, AUR leads in voter preferences for the parliamentary elections.

BAROMETER Informed.ro - INSCOP Research is a monthly opinion poll conducted by INSCOP Research commissioned by the news platform Informat.ro in partnership with the think-tank Strategic Thinking Group.

BAROMETER Informat.ro - INSCOP Research

aims to bring to public attention topics of interest in order to stimulate national conversations on various topics and public policies essential for the present and future of Romania, based on the opinion of Romanians in partnership with prestigious think tanks and academic institutions. It is an approach through which we aim to contribute to the consolidation of democracy through the use of scientific and credible tools that bring the voice of citizens to the forefront of public debate.

Methodology: Data were collected between 26-30 May 2025. Research method: questionnaire interview. Data were collected using the CATI method (telephone interviews), the simple stratified sample size was 1150 persons, representative by significant socio-demographic categories (sex, age, occupation) for the non-institutionalized population of Romania, aged 18 years and over. The maximum permissible error of the data is ± 2.9% at 95% confidence level.

VOT VOTE PARTIES Parliamentary Elections

Remus Ștefureac - director INSCOP Research: "Beyond the parliamentary representation, the cumulative voting intention for the parties that could form the parliamentary majority (PSD, PNL, USR, UDMR) is 50%, while the rest of the parliamentary parties in the likely opposition score around 44%. The parties not represented in the Parliament add 6%. AUR is the clear leader in terms of voting intention with a score similar to the one obtained by presidential candidate George Simion in Romania in the first round of the presidential elections (38%). PSD and PNL are fighting for second place with scores below 20%, PSD is declining, a phenomenon that can be explained in the context of successive electoral failures in the presidential elections, and PNL is slightly up, probably due to the return to the party's leadership of Ilie Bolojan, currently one of the most trusted political leaders together with Nicușor Dan. USR does not seem to capitalize electorally on a possible association with President Nicușor Dan, with a score similar to the one obtained in the elections, possibly also due to the relevant percentage obtained by SENS, a non-parliamentary party (4%). POT and SOS have a voting intention significantly below the score obtained in the parliamentary elections, given that the candidacy of George Simion helped AUR to attract some of the supporters of these parties."

Estimare turnout vote parliamentary elections

On a scale from 1 to 10, where 1 means "definitely no" will definitely go to vote and 10 "definitely yes" will definitely go to vote, 11.5% of the Romanians chose 1, 0.3% chose 2, 0.3% chose 3, 0.5% chose 4, 3.3% chose 5, 0.6% chose 6, 2% chose 7. 2.3% indicate 8, 3.2% 9 and 74.2% indicate 10. 1.7% do not know or do not answer this question.
