The National Sanitary Authority and for Food Safety (ANSVSA) has announced the withdrawal of several powdered milk formulas for infants due to the possible presence of cereulide, a toxin generated by the bacteria Bacillus cereus in conditions of non-compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices. The affected products include Aptamil AR, Aptamil NUTRI-BIOTIK 1 and 2, as well as Aptamil PROFUTURA DUOBIOTIK 1 and 2, and Milupa Milumil 1, each having specific expiration dates. ANSVSA recommends that consumers carefully check the name, weight, and expiration date of the products, not to use them, and to return them to the point of sale. In case of unusual symptoms in children, it is recommended to urgently consult a doctor.
