Dr. Horațiu-Remus Moldovan, the president of the National Health Insurance House, stated that 2025 will be the year in which Romanians will regain their trust in vaccines, observing an increase in interest for immunization. CNAS data shows an increase of almost 49% in the administration of the HPV vaccine, with 124,820 doses administered in 2025, compared to 83,824 in 2024.

Other vaccines, such as the meningococcal and pneumococcal vaccines, recorded increases of 121% and 27%, respectively. CNAS has spent over 111.1 million lei on vaccines, mostly for HPV.
