Alexandru Rogobete, Minister of Health, declared that health is improved by deeds and investments, not by promises, following his visit to the hospitals in Valcea. With more than 150 million euro invested, the hospitals benefit from the extension of the outpatient department, a new operating block and the modernization of the ATI department. A mental health center for addiction patients is also being built. Next steps include the purchase of an angiographer and the formation of a county administrative consortium for unitary health services. Rogobete emphasizes the importance of investment and accountability in transforming the healthcare system.
