Pulmonologists in Timișoara have launched a registry for patients with severe bronchial asthma, for better monitoring and administration of free innovative treatments. In Romania, approximately one million people suffer from asthma, and 4–10% have the severe form. The registry will help in the precise assessment of patients in Timișoara and in personalizing treatments, while risk factors such as pollution and smoking are closely monitored.
