Manfred Weber, the president of the European People's Party (EPP) group in the European Parliament, stated on Monday in Strasbourg that he is concerned about the latest political developments in Romania. He emphasized that Romania needs a stable government to address current issues and to be a reliable partner for Europe, capable of achieving results within the agreed reform agenda. Weber called for responsibility from Romanian political leaders, urging them to support Ilie Bolojan to ensure governmental stability.

EPP Vice President Sigfried Mureșan mentioned that the political situation in Romania will be discussed during the EPP group meeting, highlighting the existing uncertainties that could affect the progress of reforms.
