A minor earthquake, with a magnitude of 3.3 on the Richter scale, occurred on Thursday morning at 05:37 in the seismic area of Vrancea. It took place at a depth of approximately 120 kilometers, characteristic of the region. The epicenter was located 31 km west of Focșani, 61 km north of Buzău, and 92 km east of Brașov, also being felt in nearby areas, including 80 km east of Sfântu-Gheorghe. On the same night, another earthquake was recorded at 00:31, with a magnitude of 2.7 on the Richter scale, and it occurred at a depth of 124.6 kilometers. Its epicenter was situated 49 km northwest of Buzău and 65 km east of Brașov. Both earthquakes were classified as weak, according to the National Institute for Earth Physics Research and Development (INCDFP).
