The Green Breeze wind farm, located in Galați County, has recently been energized and is set to become fully operational in the coming months, according to an announcement made by Nala Renewables on its LinkedIn page. The project, developed by OX2, was sold to Nala Renewables, a joint venture between IFM Investors and Trafigura, for the sum of 214 million euros. It includes the construction of 16 Vestas turbines, model V162-6.2 MW, and has secured access to the grid through a connection contract signed with Transelectrica in March 2023. The transaction also includes a virtual power purchase agreement for a duration of 12 years with a multinational corporate off-taker. OX2 will continue to be involved in the project during the construction phase, acting as an interface with the main contractors and turbine suppliers. This initiative underscores the commitment to the development of renewable energy in Romania.
