The Commissioner General of the National Environmental Guard, Andrei Corlan, announced a control of all municipal landfills, in collaboration with IGSU, to check compliance with environmental regulations. The action will last seven days and will include checking environmental authorizations, separating combustible and non-combustible waste and identifying environmental risks. The aim is to prevent fires similar to the one in Aninoasa and to develop a public environmental policy strategy. The results will be published at the end of the action.
