On Thursday morning, at 06:01, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.3 occurred in Buzău County, according to the National Institute for Earth Physics Research and Development (INCDFP). The earthquake was located at a depth of 120.1 km and was felt in the vicinity of several towns, being situated 45 km northwest of Buzău, 56 km northeast of Ploiești, 66 km southeast of Brașov, 70 km southeast of Sfântu-Gheorghe, 72 km southwest of Focșani, and 88 km northeast of Târgoviște. Additionally, the most significant earthquake in the past year occurred on February 26 in Vrancea County, with a magnitude of 4.5.
