The campaign for the Capital City Hall is becoming more dynamic, and independent candidate Vlad Gheorghe has issued a direct challenge to his opponents, inviting them to public debates on important issues for local administration. Gheorghe proposed the first debate for Thursday evening, at a café in Piața Romană, with the subject being the abolition of sectors and Ilfov. He emphasized the importance of frequent debates for electoral success and stated that he is open to participating in any other debate organized by other candidates, as long as they are accessible to the public.
Through this call, Gheorghe aims to bring back into discussion the topic of the administrative reorganization of the Capital, a controversial subject in Romanian politics. So far, the other candidates have not confirmed their participation in the proposed debate.
