Sociologist Vasile Dincu, PSD MEP, argues that, as an independent, Călin Georgescu would have won the presidential elections last autumn, just as he would have won the May elections, if he had passed the Constitutional Court (CCR). Vasile Dincu says that the solution to defeat Călin Georgescu was a large turnout, as in Germany, voters mobilized against the far-right party AFD and left it in opposition.
