Former President Traian Basescu believes that if the parties of the Forța Dreptei would vote in a disciplined manner for the USR candidate Elena Lasconi, she could enter the second round of the presidential elections, to the disadvantage of AUR President George Simion. Basescu said that the current president of the PNL, Nicolae Ciucă, will be changed from the head of the Liberals, because he has no way to enter the second round.
