Presidential advisor Ludovic Orban criticized USR, stating that the political formation exploits the image of Nicușor Dan in the electoral campaign for the Capital City Mayor. Orban emphasized that Dan's presence at a candidate launch event does not imply active support for him. He warned that the way USR uses the president's image could have negative effects, annoying supporters of Nicușor Dan, whom they consider affected by what he calls an "abuse" in the use of his image. Orban pointed out that this strategy could lead to a distancing of sympathizers from USR.
