Independent candidate Nicușor Dan has moved into second place, overtaking the Coalition candidate. According to current data, Dan has more than 71,000 votes ahead of Crin Antonescu.

Crin Antonescu conceded defeat after an evening in which the battle for the second round was very close. The AUR president wins the first round by 1.8 million votes.
