Kelemen Hunor, the president of UDMR, commented on the possible effects of the elections in the Capital on the coalition, mentioning that PNL, PSD, and USR have their own candidates, which could lead to tensions. He emphasized that, in the competition between candidates Ciucu, Băluță, and Drulă, only one will win, while the others will be losers, which will create problems within the coalition. Hunor has already noticed attacks between candidates in the electoral campaign, which could worsen the situation. Although he did not indicate a favorite, he expressed hope that the coalition will not break apart, but acknowledged that there will be "consequences" regardless of the outcome.
