Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan sent a congratulatory message to Ciprian Ciucu, the new mayor of Bucharest, who won the elections with 35.86% of the votes. Bolojan thanked the citizens for their support and emphasized the importance of collaboration with Ciucu and the sector mayors to address the city's issues. Ciucu, who demonstrated competence and integrity at the Sector 6 City Hall, stated that he is dedicated to the life of Bucharest and does not wish to hold other political positions, but to focus on the development of the capital.
