Constantin Toma, mayor of Buzăului, said he will vote for Nicușor Dan in the second round of the presidential elections, emphasizing the importance of democracy. Although he supports Dan, Toma said he will not campaign for him because of the PSD's bad image, which risks affecting the outcome. He called for the resignation of the PSD leadership, warning that the party could fall below 10% in the upcoming elections. Toma has discussed with other Social Democrat mayors who, although not making their choice public, will also vote for Nicușor Dan.
